What is a Lifting Column Bollard? How to Choose a Lifting Column Bollard?
Lifting columns, also known as lifting ground columns, lifting bollards, anti-collision bollards, hydraulic lifting columns, isolation piles, etc. It is widely used in urban transportation, military and important national agency gates and surroundings, pedestrian streets, highway toll stations, airports, schools, banks, large clubs, parking lots and many other occasions. By restricting passing vehicles, traffic order and the safety of major facilities and places are effectively guaranteed.
The main categories are as follows:
- 1. Pneumatic fully automatic lifting column:
Air is used as the driving medium through an external pneumatic power unit.
Advantages: safe, environmentally friendly, durable, fast lifting speed, able to meet the control requirements of high-frequency entrances and exits and high-security emergency passages;
Disadvantages: Drainage and separate air pipes need to be buried, which is difficult to construct and difficult to maintain later;
- 2. Electromechanical and hydraulic integrated fully automatic lifting column:
Hydraulic oil serves as the driving medium. The cylinder is driven up and down through the built-in hydraulic unit power unit (the driving part is placed inside the cylinder).
Advantages: A micro-hydraulic drive system composed of a micro-motor and a hydraulic device is used internally, which perfectly realizes the electro-hydraulic integration. There is no need to establish a separate oil tank and long-distance oil pipes. It is easy to maintain and can directly use the lifting road pile method. Unscrew the screws on the blue plate, and then lift it out together with the lifting bollard and hydraulic cylinder. In addition, it has the characteristics of fast lifting speed and long service life. It is the most cost-effective and most commonly used lift in the market. column products;
Disadvantages: 220V power supply strictly prohibits the machine core from being soaked in water for a long time. The machine core needs to be regularly cleaned, added with hydraulic oil and other maintenance; during the construction process, leakage protection, drainage system and other work need to be done well;
- 3. Electromechanical fully automatic lifting:
The motor built into the column drives the lifting and lowering of the column.
Advantages: Low-voltage DC power supply is used, which is safe and reliable. The inner and outer columns are fully sealed, and the construction is simple without the need for a drainage system;
Disadvantages: slow lifting speed, short service life, poor anti-collision ability, suitable for use in low-frequency venues;
- 4. Semi-automatic lifting column:
The ascent process is driven by the power unit built into the column, and the descent is completed by manpower.
- 5. Movable lifting column:
The column and the base are designed separately, and the column can be stowed away when it is no longer needed for control.
- 6. Fixed column:
The column is directly fixed to the road surface.
The main use occasions, advantages and disadvantages of various types of columns are different, and the selection needs to be based on the actual project when using them.
