Description of Mechanical Swing Gate:

This mechanical gate offers an extremely effective yet economical access security solution. As reliable as it is practical, the mechanical gate is designed to be used in areas to positively indicate the entrance/exit flow and particularly suited where maximum security is not required.

The gate is designed to be open through 90 degrees and return to the closed position under spring tension. A standard feature of these gates is the ability to be opened in the reverse direction by firm body pressure to give an emergency exit facility. A simple adjustment negates this facility when used as a exit.

They can be used for making entrances and exits and pedestrian passageways, they can partition and block off rooms, politely direct customers from the entrance to the cash desk and provide you with a means of orientation amidst the wide range of products you stock.

Manual supermarket swing barrier gate is for security system with optional sensor quantity, and dual swinging glass barriers available in multiple heights. Offers maximum lane widths for wheelchair access with advanced “side-gating” technology.

Available in either a left-hand, right-hand or bi directional configuration (bi-directional gates allow free passage through the gate from either direction, yet still closes under spring tension to ensure the gate arm is always controlled

All gates are fitted to 1060mm high uprights. Standard finish is bright chrome plate with white infill panel to arm. You need to calculate

Arm Length -Single gate: Width of gap -150mm, Facing pair of gates, Width of gap -250mm (Round either up or down to nearest supplied length)

Arm Direction -Imagine you are standing behind the supporting post of the gate, looking down the length of the arm, if someone were to walk through the gate, would it move through your left or right quadrant? If it moves through the right, a right handed gate is needed and visa-versa.

Gate Arm = 750mm -150mm = 600mm
