01 How to install face recognition access control — wiring
When you buy a face recognition access control device sold by the manufacturer and come back, the first thing to do is to wire the device so that the device can control the opening and closing of the door.
No matter which device it is, it is roughly divided into three types of cables, namely: power cable, door opening cable, and network cable. The network cable may or may not be connected. If not, you need to manually configure the wireless network.
Find the wire that controls the door on the existing access control system, use a wire stripper to cut off the part of the wire, and then connect it to the terminal provided by the manufacturer.
Connect to the IO port and GND port of the face recognition access control device according to the positive and negative poles. For details, please insert the line according to the interface diagram in the product manual and it is OK.
Tips
Generally, the black of the wire is the negative pole, and the red is the positive pole. The wire that controls the door on the access control system is usually on the power box or the access control switch.
If you choose to install it on the wall, it is recommended that the bottom of the access control device be between 1.3m-1.4m from the ground.
For better installation and aesthetics, you can choose to take open grooves and open lines, or dark grooves and dark lines.
02 How to install face recognition access control — networking
After the installation is successful, you need to start the network first. If you have selected an access network cable in the front, you can skip the steps of networking.
Open the settings panel of the face device, Hesi Guardian is to double-click the guardian text logo at the bottom of the screen.
Click WIFI settings, select your wifi, enter the wifi password, the steps are the same as the mobile phone networking.
03 How to install face recognition access control — activate configuration
After the preliminary work is ready, we need to activate the device.
You can directly register an account under the guardian page of Elefine Technology’s official website. After obtaining authorization, you can scan the QR code on the device to activate, and the system will automatically bind the device to your account.
Log in to the background management interface of the device, and perform some basic information settings, such as device information settings, authorization group settings, attendance rule settings, function module installation, personnel grouping, etc.
04 How to install face recognition access control — face entry
When you have set your account information almost the same, you can start face entry, so that the face recognition access control device can know who is who.
It can be manually entered online through the background management interface, or you can choose to send a QR code or link to others, and complete the face information entry on the mobile phone.
05 How to install face recognition access control — use
After the face is entered and approved in the background, the system will synchronize the face database in the cloud to the local device. After the data synchronization is successful, you can swipe your face for access and attendance.
