At present, the anti-pinch function of swing turnstile gates on the market is basically realized by infrared induction. Once the infrared induction fails due to the interference of the use environment (sunlight, smoke, etc.), the anti-pinch function will be lost. In response to this situation, Shenzhen Elefine Technology has fully upgraded the product’s anti-pinch function. In the past, infrared anti-pinch was generally used for most of swing turnstiles and flap barrier turnstiles, but now we do not use infrared anti-pinch, we use the mechanical anti-pinch function for our cylindar speed turnstile. The new mechanical anti-pinch function has been added to truly protect the user, keep users be safe and assured, what’s more, the equipment runs more stable.

Which equipment is more suitable for using infrared anti-collision function?

How to realize the mechanical anti-pinch function of the cylindar speed turnstile gate?

Because of the limitation of the internal structure of the cylindrical column, the inner space of cylindar speed turnstile is too small to fit the main board, slave board and infrared sensors, so we use mechanical anti-pinch function for the cylindar speed turnstile gate, but not the infrared anti-pinch.

The mechanical anti-pinch of swing turnstiles is realized by electromagnetic clutches, if the turnstile gate wing is blocked during movement, the motor will automatically disengage.

The brushless motor will detect the torque to realize anti-collision function. When the brushless motor is moving, the current can be adjusted to correspond to the output strength. When opening and closing the door, when encountering a current exceeding the set value, the motor stops rotating.

In the process of swiping the card to open the door, after giving the turnstile open signal, the turnstile wing will open left or right. If someone blocks it, it will pause for a while and then continue to close the door after 1 or 2 seconds.

This cylindar speed turnstile is closed by delay, for example, it is set to close automatically after 3 seconds or 4 seconds.

In the closed state, if the cylindar turnstile wing is pushed by hand, it will activate the clutch to suck and close the turnstile, and then give an alarm signal, such as a voice reminder of illegal entry.

Advantages of mechanical anti-pinch function:

If with infrared anti-pinch function, electronic equipment is easily disturbed by the use environment, while the mechanical anti-pinch is realized by the operation of precision mechanical parts, and won’t be affected by any external environment and it is with high stability.

For the use of functions, it is a complete upgrade. First, when the cylindar speed turnstile gate wing in the closed state, it will be in a fully locked state, and cannot be opened by external force, so as to avoid failure of the closed passage.

Secondly, if the cylindar speed turnstile gate wing is blocked during movement, the motor will automatically disengage to protect pedestrians and the motor. After the external resistance disappears, the cylindar speed turnstile gate wing automatically moves to a normal state.

P. S. but no manufacturer implements this mechanical anti-pinch function for flap barrier turnstiles, because the electromagnetic clutch of flap barrier turnstile cannot be completely locked when the turnstile wing is closed. When the external force is greater than the suction force of the electromagnetic clutch, the turnstile wings will be opened, which is a lack of functionality.
