• 1. Drop center drill bit

High penetration for soft to medium hard and corrosive rock formations. Low to medium air pressure. Maximum hole slope control.

• 3. Convex

High penetration at soft to medium firm at low to medium air pressure. It is the most resistant to steel washes and reduces load and wear on the gauge buttons, but has poorer bore skew control.

This face shape is good for fast penetration in medium-hard rock. Designed for high air pressure and good resistance to steel wash step gauge bits.
