Automatic Ticket/Card Dispenser System Auto Pay Smart Car Parking Lot Solution Ticket Box Station

Description:

  • The parking lot ticket box is a device used in the parking lot management system to issue parking cards (usually IC cards, magnetic stripe cards or paper tickets). It is often used in conjunction with the license plate recognition system and installed at the entrance of the parking lot.

Specification:

  • Model No.: EF-PS009
  • Dimension: 370*350*1350mm
  • Application: Parking access control box
  • LAN interface: 1, 100/10mbps, connecting gateway
  • Working power supply: AC/110-220V, 50~60Hz
  • Maximum power consumption: 90W
  • Installation method: erected
  • Color: orange or green (support customization)
  • Communication: RS485 TCP/IP

Ticket box function

  • Issuing parking cards:
The driver presses the button on the ticket box at the entrance, and the ticket box automatically spits out the parking card and records the vehicle entry time.
If combined with license plate recognition, the ticket box may only issue cards when license plate recognition fails or temporary vehicles enter.
  • Information interaction:
The ticket box is equipped with a display screen and voice prompts to guide the driver’s operation (such as “Please take the card” and “Please wait”).
Our company can customize high-end ticket boxes to support the display of license plate numbers, remaining parking spaces in the parking lot and other information.
  • Triggering the gate:
After taking the card, the ticket box sends a signal to the control system, and the gate is linked to open, allowing the vehicle to enter.
  • Backup function:
When the license plate recognition system fails, the ticket box serves as the core equipment of the traditional mode to ensure the normal operation of the system.

Ticket box structure and composition

  • Casing: Made of plastic-sprayed steel plate (or stainless steel), waterproof, dustproof, and corrosion-resistant, suitable for outdoor environments (protection level such as IP65).
  • Button: Located on the front of the ticket box, marked with the words “take card” (supports customization as touch or induction).
  • Card outlet: Designed near the button, it is convenient for the driver to take the card, and there is a card transmission mechanism inside.
  • Display/indicator: Displays operation prompts or status (such as “Please take the card” or “The card is exhausted”).
  • Card reader (optional): The ticket box supports swiping monthly cards or membership cards, and has an integrated card reading function.
  • Internal mechanism: includes card storage compartment (which can store hundreds of cards), motors, sensors, etc. to ensure smooth card output.
  • Communication module: Connects to the parking management system via RS485, Ethernet or wireless, and transmits data in real time.

Typical operation process

  • The vehicle arrives at the entrance, triggers the ground sensor coil or is detected by the license plate recognition camera.
  • The driver presses the “take card” button on the ticket box.
  • The ticket box spits out the parking card, and the display and voice prompt “Please take the card”.
  • After the driver takes the card, the gate is automatically lifted and the vehicle enters.
  • The system records the license plate (if there is a recognition function), entry time and card number.

Technical features

  • Capacity: The card compartment of the ticket box can usually store 200-500 cards, and some support online monitoring of the card quantity to remind the administrator to replenish.
  • Reliability: It adopts a combination of mechanical and electronic design, with low failure rate and adaptability to high-frequency use.
  • Compatibility: It can be integrated with a variety of parking management systems and supports IC cards, ID cards, paper tickets and other media.
  • Installation location: Usually on the right side of the entrance, with a height of about 1.2-1.5 meters, which is convenient for drivers to reach out and operate (considering the height difference between sedans and SUVs).

Common problems and maintenance

  • Card jam:

Reason: Poor card quality, damp adhesion or card output mechanism failure.
Solution: Use standard cards, clean the card output port regularly, and check the motor and sensor.

  • No card or no card output:
Reason: Empty card compartment, sensor misjudgment or system not triggered.
Solution: Supplement cards, check ground sensor coil or license plate recognition trigger signal.
  • Communication failure:
Reason: Network interruption or loose interface.
Solution: Check the network cable and RS485 interface, and restart the device if necessary.
  • Regular maintenance:
Clean the dust inside the ticket box, check the card compartment and card issuing mechanism.
Ensure that the rainproof measures for the ticket box are effective to prevent the circuit from getting wet.

Combination with license plate recognition

  • Main mode: license plate recognition is the main method, and the ticket box is the auxiliary method. Registered vehicles can enter the venue directly by license plate, and temporary vehicles need to take the card.
  • Advantages: Reduce manual intervention, improve traffic efficiency, while retaining the traditional card taking mode, and strong compatibility.
  • Optimization suggestions: Promote the cardless mode (such as license plate binding payment, scan code payment), reduce the dependence on ticket boxes, and reduce the cost of card consumables.

Application scenarios:

  • Parking lot management: such as residential areas, commercial centers, and industrial parks, suitable for high-traffic vehicle management.
